Sticky Orange Marmalade Chicken Drumettes




This is a simple yet delicious recipe, perfect for games night, movie night or any form of gathering.
The sweetness of the marmalade compliments the chicken perfectly. It's a great snack and can be served with some of your favorite side dished.










Ingredients:

17 chicken drumettes, cleaned & patted dry
2 garlic clove, minced or grated
1 Tsp salt
1/4 Tsp black pepper
3 Tbsp Orange Marmalade 
1 Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar 
1/8 Tsp Cinnamon
1/2 cup Ketchup
1/4 cup Water

Method:

1. Preheat oven to 355 degree F. Place drumettes in a bowl, add green seasoning, 1 clove of garlic, salt and pepper. Toss the chicken around, ensure that they are all coated with the seasoning.

2. On an oiled baking sheet, arrange the drumettes in a single layer with some space between them, that will allow them to cook evenly. Place in oven and bake for 35-40 mins or until golden brown.

3. Whilst chicken is baking, start the marmalade sauce.
In a small sauce pan over medium high heat, bring the water to a rapid simmer. Add in the marmalade, stir until dissolved. Add the balsamic vinegar, cinnamon and garlic. Stir once to combine and let reduce. Once the mixture starts to thicken, turn down the heat to medium and add in the ketchup. Stir to combine. Let it simmer for 2-3 mins and remove from heat.

4. Once the chicken is cooked through, place them in a bowl and pour the sticky sauce over them. Toss to coat, ensuring every piece of chicken is covered with sauce. Transfer to a serving plate and serve immediately.
