There's nothing easier than Polenta Sticks!!!

What's an easier snack than polenta sticks. it's quick and super easy to make. Crispy on the outside,  creamy and cheesy on the inside. It's the perfect cold weather snack, your friends and family will be super impressed by this.

Ingredients:

Creamy Polenta
1/2 cup cornmeal
Oil for frying

Method:

Sprinkle the cornmeal in a greased baking sheet. Ensure that the cornmeal covers the entire surface, pour out the excess. Pour the polenta in the baking, using a wooden spoon, smooth the top and distribute the polenta evenly. Place in the fridge to cool for 2 hours.

Once cooled and firm, Using a knife, cut the polenta into sticks.
Heat up your frying oil, once the oil is hot enough. Place your polenta stick in the oil, one at a time. Avoid over crowding the pan, this will allow the sticks to cook evenly. Cook for 5-8 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Place on a paper toilet to drain the excess oil, then sprinkle with a pinch of salt.
Enjoy!!!!

Notes:

For a healthier version, you can bake these in a 340 degree oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
